Serving In Arnhem Land

Callum first became interested in flying after attending a flying camp through the Air Force Cadets as a young teenager. He won a scholarship to learn to fly a glider despite not being of a high enough rank to meet the eligibility criteria, and it was then that he realised God’s future plans for him included flying.
In 2014, by the Lord’s grace and provision, Callum was able to attend Bunbury Flying School in WA and learn to fly powered aircraft. After gaining his Commercial Pilot Licence he headed up to the Kimberley region to look for a job and gain some experience flying commercially. However, the Lord intervened and redirected him back to his original goal of mission aviation. Callum’s passion had always been to serve the Lord in aviation, and so with renewed zeal he attended Bible College in preparation for serving with MAF.
Callum is preparing to move to Arnhem Land in the near future and is excited to be given the opportunity to serve God in remote areas as a missionary pilot. He looks forward to building relationships with the Yolngu people and sharing God’s love with them.
Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
