Originally from South East Queensland, Dan and Shannon Perrett both sensed a call to mission work from a young age.
Dan studied a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and Shannon a Bachelor of Business before completing a year of Bible College. They both sensed that God was calling them use the skills and qualification He had provided, to serve Him with in Papua New Guinea.
The Perrett Family joined Christian Radio Missionary Fellowship in March 2008. Whilst serving in PNG, Dan fulfilled a number of positions in the organisation including Workshop Manager, Training Co-ordinator, and is also a technician with a particular passion for solar. Shannon worked part-time as the Administrator, as well as taking care of their 3 gorgeous girls.
After leaving CRMF in late 2014, Dan commenced training as an Apprentice Avionics Engineer at the MAF Mareeba heavy maintenance facility.
Dan and Shannon are passionate about the ministry of MAF and have witnessed first-hand the impact MAF has on local communities and churches in remote places. They are taking up this position, with a view to return to an overseas field program in the future.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight.'
