Serving In Arnhem Land

Hudson grew up on a farm in southern New South Wales, and at a young age developed a significant interest in aviation through watching crop duster aircraft sowing rice on his farm.
Growing up in a Christian family, Hudson has always had a strong desire to serve God, and was involved in his church’s youth group and music ministry. Since completing his home-schooling in 2009, Hudson has continued to find opportunities to serve God through volunteering on Christian camps for foster kids and continuing involvement in his local church.
After working for several years on the family farm, Hudson received a call from God to become a mission pilot with MAF.
Following God’s call, Hudson completed three years of Bible and flight training at the Melbourne School of Theology and the Australian Centre for Mission Aviation.
Hudson is now preparing to move to Arnhem Land (NT), and looks forward to using his passion for aviation to ‘fly for life’ with MAF. His prayer is that the aircraft he flies becomes a means to build good relationships and share the love of Christ with the local Yolngu people.
That is why we labor and strive, because we have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all people, and especially of those who believe.”
