Pascal & Rebekah Somandin
Serving In Arnhem Land
* This donation is tax deductible
Pascal and Rebekah have been serving with MAF for 7 years. They spent 4 years in Mareeba and for the last 3 years they have been based in Arnhem Land.
Their journey has taken Pascal from an AME in Mareeba to becoming the Chief Engineer in Arnhem Land, while Rebekah has worked in admin as well as communications and media. They have two children, Aletheia (a sensitive, detailed, organised little girl) and Mathias (a determined little man with a love for climbing).
Pascal was born in Switzerland, grew up in Papua New Guinea, and now calls Australia home! Rebekah was born in the USA, grew up in Mudgee NSW, and now lives in a part of Australia that she says feels like a whole new country!
They both love being part of the MAF “family” in Arnhem Land, learning about Aboriginal culture and getting involved in the local church and outreaches. The last few years have taught them to rely on God more and more to be everything they need, and they are excited to be a part of bringing hope to isolated communities.
The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.
